Plovac Ploški is made from the grapes of the indigenous Dalmatian variety Plavac Mali, grown on the southern slopes of the island, near the village of Ivan Dolac. The name suggests the area of the vineyards, “Plavac from the beach”, where the vineyards are bathed in the sunlight and the sea air. Vintage 2009 once more proved its quality. After the gold medal at”The Balkans International Wine Competition 2014″ in Sofia and 4 star at “Wine Star 2015” in Zagreb, Plovac Ploški 2009 was included on the wine list of the restaurant De Librije, the best Dutch restaurant, which is distinguished with 3 Michelin stars. Owner and chef Jonnie Boer designed a new dish that will perfectly accompany this wine. So this Hvar wine will be offered with lamb and mushrooms, seaweed in yogurt and lemon … You can order our two wines, Plovac Ploški and Jubo’v in the Benelux countries from our exclusive distributor Croatiangrapes check out their web shop or enjoy our wines in the restaurants and bars, which are supplied by Croatiangrapes.
